Thermador Range

Thermador PRG305WH

Model # PRG305WH

The PRG305WH is the 5-burner sibling of Thermador’s 30-inch all-gas Pro Harmony® range, adding a center burner to the cooktop while keeping the same 4.4 cu ft single oven cavity and 24-inch standard cabinet depth as the 4-burner PRG304WH. The extra burner changes the grate layout – two continuous grates span all five burners instead of individual grates per burner – which is worth checking first on any complaint about a wobbly or misaligned grate.

As with the 4-burner version, this range has no dual-fuel electric oven and no Home Connect WiFi, so troubleshooting is entirely manual: burner-by-burner ignition checks, then oven bake and broil performance against the dial. If a burner won’t light and there’s any smell of gas, shutting off the gas supply to the range is the first step, before touching the igniter or burner, and that shutoff should always come before any other safety action on this model.

FAQ

Thermador PRG305WH FAQ

The PRG305WH adds a fifth, center burner, and total cooktop BTU is spread differently (80,000 total vs. 87,000 on the 4-burner version). The grates are also two continuous pieces spanning all five burners rather than individual grates per burner.

Center burners on 5-burner cooktops sit between two other burners and can be more prone to debris or a misaligned burner cap affecting the flame. Confirm the burner cap and igniter are seated correctly and clean of food debris before assuming the valve or igniter has failed.
