Thermador Range

Thermador PRG366WG

Model # PRG366WG

The PRG366WG is the highest-output range in Thermador’s 36” gas lineup – six open burners totaling 127,000 BTU over a 5.7 cu ft all-gas oven built to Pro Grand® commercial cabinet depth. Both the cooktop and oven are gas-fired, so an igniter or valve problem can originate on either side, and the oven’s five cooking modes (including Keep Warm) all run through the same gas burner and igniter rather than an electric element.

With six burners on one gas line, a no-light complaint across several burners at once points toward the supply side rather than six separate igniter failures. If there’s any smell of gas or a burner lighting unevenly, shutting off the gas supply to the range comes first, before any other diagnostic step, given the fully gas-fired cooktop and oven on this model.

FAQ

Thermador PRG366WG FAQ

It's the six-burner, no-griddle configuration in the Pro Grand commercial-depth line, and six full-output burners add up to more total BTU than configurations that trade a burner or two for a griddle.

It can be. Since this is an all-gas oven, Keep Warm relies on the same burner and igniter cycling at a low rate, so inconsistent cycling is worth checking at the gas valve and igniter control rather than assuming a thermostat sensor alone.
