The PRD48WISGU combines the same steam-and-convection combi oven and separate warming drawer found on the PRD48WDSGU with a Liberty® Induction Module cooktop instead of a griddle – two open gas burners plus two induction zones with HeatShift® technology. That’s five distinct heating systems on one range: gas burners, induction zones, a primary electric oven, a steam combi oven, and a warming drawer, each needing to be isolated before repair.
Because the steam oven relies on a removable water tank and its own fill sensor, a ‘no steam’ complaint is worth checking at the tank and its seating before assuming the combi oven’s heating element has failed. If a gas burner won’t light and there’s any smell of gas, shutting off the gas supply to the range comes first, before working on the induction module, either oven, or the warming drawer.
