Thermador Range

Thermador MRI304DL

Model # MRI304DL

The MRI304DL is Thermador’s 30-inch Masterpiece® induction range, pairing a fully sealed induction cooktop with a single 4.6 cu ft oven cavity and a built-in warming drawer beneath it. Unlike Thermador’s Pro Harmony® and Pro Grand® gas and dual-fuel lines, this model has no open burners or igniters to service, so a cooktop-side call is almost always about a zone that won’t recognize cookware, won’t power on, or throws a problem on the display rather than anything gas-related.

The oven runs eleven distinct cooking modes, including Proof and Pizza settings, plus a multi-point meat probe, through the same control board that drives the induction zones, so a probe reading that won’t stabilize is worth checking against the display and control panel before assuming the probe itself has failed. The warming drawer uses its own heating element separate from the main cavity, so a cold drawer and an oven bake or broil problem are usually two separate repairs even when a shared control board is involved.

FAQ

Thermador MRI304DL FAQ

Induction zones only activate when they detect compatible magnetic cookware seated correctly on the zone. If a known-good induction pan still won't trigger the zone, the issue is more likely the zone's sensor coil or control board than the cookware itself.

Not necessarily. The warming drawer has its own heating element separate from the main 4.6 cu ft oven cavity, so a warming drawer problem and an oven bake/broil problem are usually two different repairs.
