Thermador Range

Thermador PRD366WGU

Model # PRD366WGU

The PRD366WGU fills its 36-inch commercial-depth cooktop with six open gas burners instead of the four-burner-plus-griddle layout on the WDGU/WIGU, pushing total cooktop output to 103,000 BTU. The oven side is the same 5.7 cu ft electric cavity with True Convection found across the Pro Grand® 36” dual-fuel lineup, so bake/broil/convection problems are diagnosed the same way regardless of which cooktop configuration sits above it.

With six burners sharing one gas supply and no griddle to isolate a problem to, a no-light complaint on multiple burners at once is more likely a supply-side issue than six simultaneous igniter failures. If there’s any smell of gas or a burner lighting unevenly, shutting off the gas supply to the range comes first, before any other troubleshooting step.

FAQ

Thermador PRD366WGU FAQ

They're different cooktop configurations within the same 36'' Pro Grand dual-fuel family - the WGU trades the griddle for two extra open burners, which is why its total BTU (103,000) is higher than the four-burner-plus-griddle WDGU (70,000).

It's a probe accessory for monitoring internal food temperature during a cook, separate from the oven's own temperature control; a probe reading error doesn't necessarily mean the oven itself isn't heating correctly.
