Thermador Range

Thermador PRG364WDH

Model # PRG364WDH

The PRG364WDH is an all-gas version of Thermador’s 36” Pro Harmony® range – four open burners and a griddle on the cooktop, feeding into a single 4.9 cu ft all-gas oven rather than the electric oven used on the dual-fuel PRD-prefixed models. Because both the cooktop and the oven run on gas, an igniter or gas-valve problem can show up in either location, so it’s worth confirming which one is actually affected before assuming a shared cause.

This model is Home Connect® WiFi-enabled despite being an all-gas range, so remote preheat or monitoring problems are a connectivity issue separate from whether the burners or oven itself are working. If a burner, griddle, or the oven igniter won’t reliably light and there’s any smell of gas, shutting off the gas supply to the range comes first, before any other troubleshooting step.

FAQ

Thermador PRG364WDH FAQ

Gas - this is an all-gas range, unlike the PRD-prefixed dual-fuel models in the same size that pair a gas cooktop with an electric oven. The oven's bake and broil functions rely on a gas burner and igniter rather than an electric element.

A glowing igniter that doesn't lead to ignition usually points to the igniter not reaching enough resistance/heat to open the gas safety valve, or a valve that isn't opening - both are things to have checked rather than something to keep re-triggering repeatedly.
