The MEMCW301 is a legacy 30-inch Masterpiece combination oven from the same generation as the MEMC301 and MEMCW271, built to combine convection heating with a microwave section on a documented 50A circuit (dual-rated 208V/240V AC, 4-wire, single-phase) per Thermador’s installation manual.
Because the microwave and convection systems are functionally separate, service diagnostics benefit from identifying which system a reported sign actually belongs to before replacing parts – a dead microwave with a working oven (or vice versa) is a normal failure pattern for this kind of combination unit, not evidence of a single shared problem.
Key Features
- 30-inch Masterpiece combination built-in oven with microwave
- Dual-rated for 208V or 240V AC, 4-wire single-phase supply
- Documented circuit requirement: 50A
- Same generation and electrical platform as the MEMC301 and MEMCW271
Most Common Issues on This Model
Microwave section failure (magnetron, high-voltage diode, turntable motor)
Breaker undersized for the documented 50A requirement
Convection cavity element or fan failure, independent of the microwave section
Door seal/hinge wear
Wiring corrosion at the junction box given the appliance's age
