Thermador Oven

Thermador POD302W

Model # POD302W

The POD302W is Thermador’s Professional Collection double wall oven at the higher spec tier: 4.5 cu ft cavities, a 16-mode upper oven with Rotisserie and the 4,800W MaxBroil broiler, and a Multi-Point Temperature Meat Probe, all on a combined 9,200W over a 240/208V, 40A circuit. It’s currently listed out of stock on Thermador’s site.

The MaxBroil element runs considerably hotter than a standard broil element, which is worth flagging to customers as a normal characteristic rather than a problem when they notice faster, more intense broiling than a basic single-oven model. A rotisserie that struggles well under its rated 12 lb capacity is more likely a worn drive motor than an underpowered unit.

FAQ

Thermador POD302W FAQ

Thermador's spec sheets show the POD302W has more cooking modes (16 upper/13 lower vs 13/13), a Multi-Point meat probe instead of Single-Point, Rotisserie, and the higher-wattage MaxBroil element - it's the higher-tier double oven.

Thermador's own site currently lists it as out of stock, so treat it as a discontinued model for parts sourcing.
