The PSO301M adds a water reservoir and steam-generating system on top of the same convection heating and control-board architecture used across Thermador’s wall oven lineup. Because it combines water-handling and electrical systems in one unit, our first non-invasive check on a steam-specific complaint is the water reservoir’s fill level and seating, before assuming a control-board or heating-element problem.
Thermador’s own documentation doesn’t publish a steam-oven-specific error code table beyond the same generic “E” + number convention used for standard ovens, so we read the exact code together with which function (dry bake, steam, or combination) was active when it appeared.
Key Features
- 30-inch steam oven
- Combines standard convection baking with a water-reservoir-fed steam function
- Documented by Thermador under the same "E" + number problem convention as its standard wall ovens
Most Common Issues on This Model
Steam function won't engage, or produces inconsistent results
Water reservoir doesn't seat or fill correctly
Display shows a numbered "E" error code
Dry-bake function unaffected while steam function fails (or vice versa)
