What E24 Means
E24 means the dishwasher isn't draining. It's not an immediate emergency, but running additional cycles without resolving it risks the water eventually pooling into the base pan and triggering the more serious E15 fault.
Common Causes of E24
- Clogged drain pump (accounts for roughly 40% of E24 cases)

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Remove and rinse the lower filter, and check the drain pump cover at the bottom-left of the tub is fully seated and hasn't come loose — together these account for the large majority of E24 cases.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- If cleaning the filter and checking the pump cover doesn't resolve it, opening the pump housing itself involves a live-voltage motor connection.
- A hose reconnected even slightly loose after inspection is one of the most common causes of a slow leak that shows up weeks later.
- Forcing a stuck drain hose fitting can crack the plastic barb, turning an inspection into a hose replacement.
- We recommend resolving E24 within 1-2 days rather than letting it sit — the base pan can eventually take on enough water to trigger E15 and risk the motor and control board.
- Accessing the pump beneath the filter typically requires removing the base pan, a common way this warranty gets voided.
