What E10 Means
Not documented by Thermador. Two independent repair references associate E10 with the power module (the main power electronics board), one describing it as a software problem in that module and the other as a power module failure.
Common Causes of E10
- Power module software problem that a reset may clear
- Failed relay or electronic part on the power board
- Supply voltage problems or a surge
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Switch the unit off at the breaker for 5 minutes and restore power. If E10 returns, note what the refrigerator is doing, such as cooling, lights or fans, before booking a technician.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The power module handles line voltage and drives the compressor and fans; testing it safely and matching the replacement board to your FD number is a technician job.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
