What E0107 Means

E0107 is Thermador’s second published relay problem on the main control board, sharing its description word for word with E0103. A relay is the small switch the board closes to send power to a pump, a heater or a valve, and the board has decided one of them is no longer behaving like a switch.

Common Causes of E0107

  • A welded or burnt relay contact on the main control board
  • A relay coil that no longer pulls in when the board commands it
  • A control board problem reported through the relay supervision routine

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try

Kill the breaker feeding the dishwasher, count out half a minute, and put it back. That single power cycle is the only step Thermador publishes before the call.

⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That

  • A relay that has welded shut can leave a part energised when the board thinks it is off, which is why this belongs with someone carrying a meter.
  • Boards on these machines are matched to the model and the software on them, so swapping one on a guess is an expensive way to learn nothing.

Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
