Thermador T18IW800SP

Model # T18IW800SP

The T18IW800SP is the narrow wine column of the 800-generation Freedom Collection: 56 bottles on eleven hardwood shelves, five bottles per shelf, behind a UV-protective glass door that takes a custom frame. The design guide gives both zones the same 41-64 F range, so reds and whites can each be set to their own temperature.

Wine columns are sensitive to small temperature swings, so a zone running a few degrees off matters more than it would in a refrigerator. Condensation on the inside of the glass usually points to door sealing or very humid room air, while one zone steadily warmer than its setting suggests a fan or sensor in that zone.

FAQ

Thermador T18IW800SP FAQ

Yes. Each zone runs 41 to 64 F on its own, so both can be set warmer.

Bottles wider than a standard 750 ml can stick out past the shelf edge; storing them on the presenter shelf avoids it.
