Thermador Refrigerator

Thermador T36IR900SP

Model # T36IR900SP

Thermador’s product page lists the T36IR900SP as a discontinued 36-inch Freedom refrigerator column, the 900-generation predecessor of today’s T36IR905SP. It is an all-refrigerator column, so the full 36-inch width is fresh-food storage, with SuperCool for fast pull-down after shopping and SoftClose doors.

All-leg leveling was new with this generation and makes it easier to set the column level, but if the legs settle on a soft floor the door can stop closing under its own weight. That is a quick adjustment, and it should come before any work on the SoftClose mechanism itself.

FAQ

Thermador T36IR900SP FAQ

Thermador keeps a service page and documents for it; availability of individual parts varies, so the FD number from the rating plate is needed to order them.

The back of the compartment is closest to the cold-air outlets; a setting that is too cold or a control holding the outlet open can freeze produce there.
