The KBUIT4265E belongs to Thermador’s older KBU built-in side-by-side family: a 42-inch panel-ready unit in the electronic-control E generation. Its use and care manual covers a whole group of numbers, from the 42-inch 4255E, 4265E and 4275E to the 48-inch 4855E, 4865E and 4875E, in both KBUIT and KBUDT versions.
These units are old enough that a blank display with cooling still running is a realistic control or display-board problem, not a sealed-system failure. Condenser coils behind the top grille also collect years of dust, and cleaning them is often the least expensive way to bring back normal run times.
