Thermador’s product page describes the T24ID905RP as a 24-inch panel-ready freezer column with an external ice and water dispenser, a stainless interior and open-door assist, the feature that lets a handle-less panel pop open with a push.
Open-door assist adds a motorized part to the door. When a push stops opening it, check the settings first: in its Freedom column guide, Thermador lists demo mode, special modes and the opening force setting as reasons automatic opening stops. Diamond ice is larger than standard cubes, so a jam in the chute shows up quickly.
